Please confirm that house rules have been reviewed WITHIN 48 HOURS OF YOUR BOOKING. This is to ensure that if there is any reason the House Rules cannot be followed, you will have the option of cancelling without a booking penalty fee.
Within this guide, you’ll find everything necessary for a safe, fun & adventure-filled stay in our home. You’ll also find our contact details in case you need any assistance during your visit. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

House Rules & Basic Information

We will send you check-in information including door entry code on the day of your arrival. If you want to request an early check-in or late check-out, we may be able to accommodate you for a $15 per hour additional fee. Please reach out to us, and we’ll do our best to arrange for you!

PARKING:
We have room for up to 4 cars in the driveway. Please do not use the garage for parking.
There is additional street parking in front of the home. Please do not park to block in our neighbors driveway across the street.
HOUSE RULES:
Kindly respect the check-in and check-out times. Late check-out will incur a fee.
Do not share home access code with unregistered guests.
No parties or large gatherings.
Smoking is strictly prohibited within the home. Additional cleaning fee will be charged.
Respect neighborhood quiet time from 9pm to 7am. Please turn off all outdoor lighting including string lights by 9pm. Do not leave outdoor lights on when not needed or being used.
Prohibited activities include the use of illegal substances.
Up to 2 pets are allowed with a pet cleaning fee of $100 per animal.
Ensure windows are closed and doors are securely locked when you’re away.
Please do not use indoor gas fireplace.
Bring your own firewood for outdoor fire pit and your own putter/chipper for the putting green. Fire and hot coals should never be left unattended.
Please note that you will be held liable for cost of any damages to the home and/or its furnishings.

Please acknowledge that occasionally, we may leave consumables such as condiments or snacks left behind by previous guests if they are not empty. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. HOWEVER, ultimately, it is up to the guests' discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. We do not take any responsibility for the consumables.
POOL RULES:
The pool is professionally maintained on a weekly basis. Maintenance staff may need to access the backyard during your stay to ensure the water is clean & safe. They will only walk around back and please let us know if they are a bother.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Shower with soap and water before you come in.
Enter and exit the pool slowly. No running on wet surfaces.
No diving.
No glass is allowed in the backyard or around the pool area.
Do not use alcohol, narcotics, or medications.
Elderly persons must consult doctor before use.
Pregnant women should consult doctor before use.
During off-season, do not sit, stand, or lie on the pool cover.
CHECKOUT RULES:
Kindly respect checkout time. Late check-out will incur a fee.
Place all used towels in downstairs laundry room.
Do not re-make beds that have been used and leave unused beds made.
Please load dishwasher with all dirty dishes and run before leaving.
Turn off all lights and unplug small appliances.
WINTER: Keep heat on & set thermostat between 66-68.
SUMMER: Leave the air on & set 78-80.
Bag up all trash and put in the trash can before leaving.
Lock all windows & doors and close blinds.

The Smoke Pit in Salisbury (~45 min): One of the most loved BBQ spots in North Carolina. Well worth the drive alone.
Angus Barn in Raleigh (~1 hour): Iconic steakhouse experience. Think classic, big, and memorable.
Fearrington House Restaurant in Pittsboro (~1 hour): A true fine-dining escape on a storybook estate. This is the kind of place you plan an entire day around.
South End Brewery District in Charlotte (~1.5 hours): Walkable area full of breweries, patios, and food stops along the Rail Trail.

Greensboro Science Center: A must-do! It’s a museum, aquarium, and zoo all in one, with tons of hands-on exhibits and animals.
Miriam P. Brenner Children’s Museum: Interactive play at its best! Kids can role play, build, create, and explore for hours.
Tanger Center for the Performing Arts: Home to Broadway shows, concerts, and world-class performances.
Bourbon Bowl: A fun, unique option. Think boutique bowling + food + outdoor space. Great for older kids or a casual family night out.
Topgolf: A fun, high-energy entertainment spot where golf meets social hangout.
Partee Shack: A lively indoor mini golf and entertainment venue with a playful, social vibe.
The Pyrle: A local favorite for entertainment and nightlife!
International Civil Rights Center: Located in the heart of downtown Greensboro, this powerful museum is one of the most important civil rights landmarks in the country.

LeBauer Park: Right downtown with a playground, splash pad (seasonal), and plenty of space to run around.
Greensboro Arboretum: Great for a slower-paced outing with walking paths, gardens, and lots of space for kids to explore.
Wet 'n Wild Emerald Pointe: Perfect for hot summer days. Think water slides, wave pools, and kid-friendly splash zones.
Greensboro Greenway Trail System: Great for bikes, scooters, and stroller walks with lots of scenic routes.
Summerfield Farms: A beautiful working farm just outside Greensboro with seasonal events, open fields, animals, photo ops, and family-friendly experiences. Our fav is the Well Truck!
Lake Brandt: A beautiful reservoir for kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, or scenic walking trails.
Bur-Mil Park: A super versatile park with playgrounds, nature trails, golf, disc golf, and open green space.
DAY TRIPS NEARBY GREENSBORO
(WORTH THE SHORT DRIVE)
Nido & Mariana Qubein Children’s Museum (~25 min) or Kaleideum (~40 min): Some of our favorite children’s museums just outside of Greensboro.
Old Salem in Winston-Salem (~45 min): A historic village with cobblestone streets, museums, bakeries, and a unique step-back-in-time feel.
North Carolina Zoo (~1 hour): One of the largest natural habitat zoos in the world. So worth the drive for a full day adventure.
JOLO Winery & Vineyards (~1 hour): A stunning mountaintop vineyard with incredible views, elevated wine tastings, and a more upscale, polished experience.
NC Transportation Museum (~1 hour): Easy day trip for families and anyone who loves a little nostalgia. Set on a former rail yard, the museum lets you explore historic trains, classic cars, and aviation exhibits.
Hanging Rock State Park (~1 hour): One of the most iconic outdoor spots in the region. Think waterfalls, mountain views, swimming holes, and a rewarding hike to the top for incredible scenery.
Divine Llama Vineyards (~1 hour): A super fun and unique winery experience where you can sip wine and meet llamas roaming the property. Quirky, memorable, and great for photos.
Lazy 5 Ranch (~1.5 hours): A drive-through safari park where you can see giraffes, zebras, camels, and more.
