Our One-Day Safari Experience
We began our day at sunrise, departing from our glamping tent in the Serengeti. After breakfast and packing a picnic lunch, we set out by jeep toward the crater. The bumpy ride was worth every minute once we reached the rim.
Descending into the crater is like entering another world. The towering crater walls create a self-contained ecosystem where animals thrive. We spent the morning spotting lions, zebras, buffalo, and even a distant black rhino, a major highlight. For lunch, we picnicked near Noitokitok Springs with sweeping views and hippos nearby. It was peaceful, wild, and unforgettable.
